Luxe Atlanta Condo Principal Bathroom
I met the client of our Luxe Atlanta Condo project at a wedding of a mutual friend. We were seated at the same table and got to talking and naturally, the subject of Atlanta interior design surfaced. She purchased her condo eight years prior to us meeting and had been dreaming about making it her own. The goal of the condo renovation was to infuse it with a modern, luxurious aesthetic.
In the bedroom, we selected soft hues and materials that inspired the use of whites and grays in the en-suite bathroom. The double vanity was custom-designed to offer ample storage, incorporating integrated plugs within the drawers. The fittings are polished nickel from Waterworks, complementing the marble tile. For the shower, we chose an exquisite oversized organic mosaic tile from one of my favorite tile shops in Atlanta, Renaissance Tile. The countertop, featuring a mitered edge, elegantly waterfalls into the shower area, which is separated by a sleek glass partition. No shower door needed here as this entire area is tiled and ‘wet’ with a linear drain.
Our client’s dream bathroom, realized. To see more of this interior design renovation project, visit the project before and after blog.
Grant Park Primary Bathroom
This Grant Park bathroom was initially quite cramped and in dire need of an update. We reconfiguring the layout entirely and ran into a happy surprise of taller ceilings. Given the faster project timeline for this interior design project, we selected a ready-made vanity from Room & Board. Crafted from walnut with a quartz counter top, it is really sharp. The deep wood tone adds a lot of softness to the tiled and glassed in space. Additional features include a spacious soaking tub under a new window, strategically placed towel hooks, a glassed-in walk-in shower cube, and beautiful green subway and marble floor tiles. The fittings are from Kohler. On the shower wall, we incorporated a lovely piece of art that the client had in his collection. It was made for the space and has personal significance.

Chastain Park Primary Bathroom
A young family purchased this house in an ideal location near Chastain Park in Atlanta. The layout and natural light were great, but the cabinetry, flooring, millwork, and lighting throughout the home were in need of a serious update. The primary bathroom underwent one of the most dramatic transformations - check out the before. The original 1990s design was evident from the angled shower with a knee wall and the earth-colored tile and granite countertops.
We revitalized the space by eliminating the angles and outdated bronze hardware, opting for a lighter and brighter aesthetic. The cabinets were painted a very pale blue gray and complemented the gorgeous quartzite countertops. The new flooring is 12x24” marble and extends vertically up the shower walls, to the ceiling. We added a bench and a his-and-her niche in the shower, with all plumbing fixtures in polished nickel, which works beautifully with the gray tones. My very favorite feature, the soft gray and white mosaic floor tile in the shower, adds a touch of elegance and is so classic.
We sourced oversized mirrors and updated the lighting with an extra long polished nickel fixture featuring delicate white glass shades. Our tiled-in tub remained and includes a shelf for convenience. I particularly love the gooseneck faucets and the polished nickel cabinet pulls — the little details that enhance the overall aesthetic.
Upscale, Organic Primary Bathroom
Our client bought a Sandy Springs home that was built in the 90’s. They lived here for a few years before deciding to renovate. There were a lot of traditional details in the curved lines of the doors and the extra thick millwork, even in the faucets - you can see it all in the before here. The client wanted a modern, earthy transformation to evoke the luxurious, laid-back feel of their favorite Banyan Tree Resort in Mayakoba, Mexico. Inspired by both Mexican and Asian aesthetics, the goal was to create a hotel-like, spa ambiance.
We aimed to eliminate all angles, introduce statement lighting to complement the soaring ceiling, and streamline the slanted sections. This renovation included new paint, tile, plumbing, and trim, as well as updated doors for better functionality, and wallpaper! Key design elements included LED circular mirrors, wall sconces, oversized woven pendant lights, and neutral marble tile with dramatic veining. We designed a custom oak vanity to maintain symmetry in this large room, with a framed mirror matching the linen closet's height. The clients desired a dramatic floating vanity, which reduced storage, so adding a linen closet was essential.
The color palette featured black, white, and brown, with natural oak, woven rattan, and green foliage to bring a tropical feel to Atlanta. We chose a neutral, slightly creamy white paint for the walls and trim to complement the oak cabinetry, balancing the deep brown hues of the adjoining bedroom. A curbless shower with a linear drain and a single stationary glass panel was created, mixing 18x36” travertine-look tiles for the floor and 12x24” marble-look tiles for the wet walls. Tile placement was intentional to manage costs while enhancing the design.
The white oak vanity was topped with honed Taj Mahal quartzite, known for its durability and classic appeal. For added drama, the sides and edges were built up, and a single stone piece was floated for the makeup vanity, creating a seamless look. Handmade concrete-like drop-in sinks added texture, paired with matte black Kohler plumbing fixtures. The final touches included a woven Panton-style chair and a black woven runner, adding contrast and more texture.

Morningside New Build Primary Bathroom
Light, bright, and airy with function dialed in across every detail. We have a dual floating vanity with an integrated makeup table hidden in the center stack of cabinets. The detail of the glass mosaic tile adds a richness and contrast to a mostly white, modern space. The lighting fixtures are watery and sculptural. Did you notice the pop of wallpaper in the water closet? It’s just a touch of perfection.
